Saw some wind on the BWD Willows webcam so decided to hit it. Quickie lunchtime session. I almost forgot how much I love the lightwind session saver. When I arrived it was 10-12kts but by the time on the water, seemed to be 8-11kts and stayed that way for an hour then decided to drop a bit so I called it. Such a beautiful day with a couple boats out from RVYC, maybe a laser and a 49er.? I put on the 900cm2 front foil and WOW! I forgot how much glide and speed that thing has. If there was a bit more wind I could have had some great speed runs but with only 10kts it was sheet and be happy with what you have. I had to go back to Windfoil today as there wasn't enough for me to Wing + Windfoiling in 10kts is pretty fun!! I missed my last jibe otherwise I would have been perfect. ugh! Might have got a hand tan though. WoooooOO!!!!
