Details | I tried to do a lot of turns and focused on wave positioning today, trying to stay on the top 1/3 of a wave throughout a maneuver. When I get this right and drag it out a bit I'm always amazed at how long I stay on foil without the wing. The 1080 and its crazy low stall speed helps a lot with this. I ventured west of Clover briefly and got swallowed by a Pit of Despair - refracting/reflecting waves off the point created an absolute mess - but eventually got spat back out in the direction of Ross Bay.
