Let my other half try the XPS 3.5 m. I opted for the 3 m Slick. It was a bit light but doable, then came when she finished to grab the 3.5 m. Finished the first session then came back out with the 5 m Nexen around 6 pm. Simply not enough wind and drifted downwind with my sinker board until exiting near the windsurfers. Underpowered at the start, underpowered at the end. Not really a good idea with non-floating boards.

I tried' the wind just died on me. Used the 12 NEO SLS and the big surfboard, hoping I could get a few taks in. Unfortunately, it did not happen. It just died on me. I did make it home, and every minute on the water I learn something new.
The surfboard I used is a big thing called 'it is what it is'. It has 3 big fins on it. I am trying to use it to learn my foot swap.

Stronger than yesterday. Working my way further up the lake. How far can one go? It gets so flat. Then not sure if I'll get back on foil once it starts to wind down up there. Been a while! Tried the Anchorman parachute leash for drop and ride runs. Worked great! Had a short flatwater paddle session afterwards with Sam in the residual chop and windless conditions just for the heck of it. Foil not in right spot and on last paddle-up took an awkward fall right on the rail with my ribs and paid the price. Busted at least one Mcrib and am out for a bit. Bummer! Thanks for the help loading my kit, Sam!

Again a late start' Wind was OK, got a little light, so I came in, but then it picked up again. I like the 9m kite, but it does like a strong wind. It reacts quickly, my down wind jibes from heel to toe are not that pretty.
At the end of the session, did a self rescue for training purpose. It is more difficult than I thought. Nick will confirm it on IKO.

It felt light but had the promise of building up so I went with my smaller 6m. Not a good sign to have Tuna and BigBadDave coming back in as I went out. I needed my hit of flight and got lucky with a gust at mid-bay and was able to ride it towards Trial Is. Made a couple of foiling jibes and then felt the winds reducing. So I headed back to avoid the swim. Disappointing.

I was handed the torch by CB and went out in very light wind for a solo session. I made the best of it for 30 minutes or so but had to come in when it lulled. I felt decently powered on my runs to Finlayson Point and back but gybes and tack turns were hard in the light wind. Snuck an early session when the wind was up a bit. Needed the 10m to foil but it built to the point that I could get a few turns and spins on the twin tip. Looks like it's lulled again. Hopefully it comes back this evening

Woke up to sunshine and wind. Had a quick coffee and breakfast and hit the water. Worked on some tacks and heiny gybes and enjoyed the scenery of foiling between the mountains. Maybe more this evening. Also trying to lure the e Foilers out the play in the wind chop but no dice so far.

First time at Nitinat since May. Much better weather than I thought with cloudy/colder forecasts. It was sunny, nice, and windy. Other half gybed twice on foil. She's still using my '21 gear. I'm sure she could use a new wing!

Fabulous session on the new Goya Gurus. Just rigged the 4.5 and the 5.0. Took turns on both with three different boards. Had the most fun on the Super mini with the 4.5. Man these sails have range. Never really felt overpowered or underpowered on either. Looks like more of the same for today.
