Great session! Started a bit sloggy with just DrMark and me on the water. With my 7m I was able to get up on foil on my good side fairly easily, but struggled a bit on my bad side. The wind soon picked up and had a lot more south in it than I'm used to. I was having an easier time pointing down towards Gonzalez than I have before. It was better than the graph shows! No problems with the 4m after 1pm launch. A few gusts concentrated to 30 but only at the the cliff face and not down where the meter is. Some amazing wing talent at the beach today! Loving this beach.

No biggie but couldn't reach/then find it, 30 minutes grrr. Pauli rescued me, no issues til next kite loop when coming in, f$&k, managed it 'barely. No beach!

Fun day at the lake. Started on the Tiki and did a grand tour of the lake. I went further downwind than I have ever gone save for seadoo assisted lessons years ago. I then came in and switched to the Duke and then went further upwind than I have ever gone and probably could have gone further as the wind was willing. Great day. Was able to close the shop early and went onto the water with my sisters 9m NEO SLS. It went well. Able to gain hight against the wind by tacking for and back, heel and toe side. Expect in the beginning when I did the manual foot swap to gain upwind, completed all my jibs. Getting close to be ready for Cadaje.

Flattish seas for the bottom of the ebb, but consistent wind for the first half. For a while, I couldn't escape the strong diesel smell anywhere in the bay. More swell with the afternoon flood but up and down for wind. I put in a good workout working the point, much pumping required to stay afloat.

As planned, I headed to RB after my Willows session to double my fun. There looked to be some slogging happening with the smaller wings that were deployed. So I went with my small 6m since my small wing pumping technique is not too efficient. Good choice with the diminishing winds and I got some short flag runs with minimal work on my part. There was still some pretty cool swell to carve with my novice skills. Still had to play kelp slalom games. BTW, nil kelp noted at Willows.

Willows looked good and I had no WB time yet this summer, so I headed over for a nostalgia session. Gorgeous warm, shorty suit day with gusty winds as expected when from the west. Bigger winds beyond MTI, but I went big with my 6.2m Mantis to get through the holes so I stayed in the bay to save the stitching. Wonderfully weed free and I had the bay to myself except for a couple of anchored boats as jibe markers. Flat but gusty, but still ridiculously fun.

Gentle. Really wanted to wavesail South Chesterman, but there was next to no surf on offer. Went to Long Beach and sailed Incinerator Rock instead. Lots of water on a slack high of about 3.4 m. Weird being back on the long mast! Felt so stable and easy but not as carvey as the 795. Used the 180 tail with blue and red shims stacked. Liked how that felt! Super flat water for RB but no weeds and easy to spot kelp. Out with Dr Mark, Gus, Dan-o and some others showed up as I was leaving. Cruisey session and was OP'd at times.

Late session, wind appeared to get weaker. Wind was a bit spooky with some big holes in the middle of the lake. After two or three dip turns, started my carving session. Was able to maintain hight on my toe side, tacking upwind on my heel side. Overall a great evening session.

First time to launch wing at Acadia and glad I did! Launch 930 at bottom of stairs on gnarly boulder beach on outgoing tide. Tide was at Goldilocks depth to create awesome swell for almost two hours, then flattened out as the wind eased.
Stayed at Acadia and didn't venture around as the swell was so good. Sweet morning!

Pretty happy with a couple of mellow wonderful wednesday sessions after monster manic Monday. Still lots of benign rolly swell, just no 40kt wildness. My Big3 combo of big Board/Wing/Foil got me quickly up and foiling in the lightish winds. I tried to follow Bobson out to the sea lanes, but the winds felt to be diminishing, so I jibed back while I had the wind and missed out on keeping him company on the long slog back. With the light winds, I shortened sesh 2 and drone cammed Danno, Matt, and Bobson.

Soft pillows. Riley and Kevin wing boarded North Chesterman during a wind/surf check and the wind freshened. Then the call was made to head to Long Beach to join Jesse and one other. This was the right move. The other three sailed below and above Lovekin and I stayed higher launching from just below Incinerator Rock. Wind was on and there was some small playful swell. Having some fun gybing onto the smooth chop sections, 5.3/110, as organized and soft as Ive seen it, near high tide, a bit holey at the end but I milked it.
Only 2-3 wingers and a couple of Kiters was fine by me, 2 boats. Lovely sunny day, cool breeze n evening

A tricky test coming off Mondays mayhem, now had to practice making the most of some fun little waves which on occasion would give you some good rides if you stayed flying and connected as many waves/turns as you could in the much lighter conditions. The other end of the spectrum.
