Checked out SP for the first time at about 1pm and didnt seem to promising on arrival even tho reports and forecast said otherwise. I decided to rig up anyways in hopes it would pick up. Seemed pretty choppy with not alot of constant wind, just powerful gusts! stayed near the shore and practiced beach/water starts and got up! once...lol. Mabey not the best spot on the beach (right of the sp cam) to practice? ill try other spots next time.
