Arrived just as Mark A guinea pigged the conditions on a 3.5. Quickly became apparent a full meter smaller would be more appropriate. I went out next and barely managed to stay upright, getting slapped around by BIG liquid smoke gusts. Not exactly a speed session for me dealing with the chop and getting shoved around! Turned tail and went in. Marty C was next out with similar results. Sketchy shore break. Finally it dropped 5 knots and became juuuust manageable. Rest of the crew jumped on it too. Some great rides for sure but mostly a survival session at first. Had to leave a little early but stoked the afternoon crowd got a piece of the action. Too fun.
