Wind never showed in Oak Bay, so called Ross Bay Local to see if he wanted to join me in the trek out to Island View. Arrived to very minimal wind and the whole RBFC talking story on the beach. Had a Guinness, and the wind picked up to 12-15ish at best. Pumped the 5m and joined the crew. It was pretty marginal, if you came off foil it was a lot of effort to get back up. Any who, it was fun while it lasted with some decent swell rolling in, but eventually couldn't get back on foil so slogged in with everybody. Fun times tho, always good to go from one extreme (clover yesterday) to the next.
