Got my rental gear a day late ,met local Tony aka dafoilmonsta as he was coming in at ka,opala and got a few tips on launch and reefs. Went out with a 6m in slightly offshore wind ,way overpowered once I paddled out to the wind line came in for 3.6 which was perfect .little scary somewhere new with rental gear, took some time to get used to. Came in when we had a short downpour felt sorry for wife on the beach on Valentines Day. Came back to our resort a bit further north at Napili and decided to go out again . Very fun waves huge rollers that were fairly smooth finding rented foil a bit twitchy but 9 more days to get used to it. Napilisunsetwebcam if your bored at work.
