Crazy wind day. Main session was unfortunately too similar to last session but more extreme (WSW competing with WNW for territory with holes in between). Was ~25 upon arrival so 4m but quickly to <20ish and underpowered. Was optimistic so hung on with the 4m and headed out of the bay again but tanked once I got out. Couple kiters out, one with foil. Kitefoiler and I milked it a bit but I ended up with a pretty long sitting or kneeing schlog back in in almost 0 knots. Was packing up when a gentle SW came in which was steadily building. Decided to get out 6.5m and give it a go. By the time I was in the water it was 4m conditions, of course. Rode it out anyways, good practice depowering the big 6.5m in >25knots and some fun rides and wipeouts.
Definitely the 400 progressive rear is very poorly matched with the 860 Surf Performance front foil. Need to keep that with the PNG and get myself something carvier. Also have an ART999 on the shelf when I eventually get a doodad and another rear wing.
