The Yin and Yang.
With both models presenting manageable SE 25kts for the Saanich Inlet, I was going to get a local session in Mill Bay. No commute down the hat today. 13:30 Mill Bay Road Side On! Silver seas, breaking swell all the way across to Pat Bay. Perfect time to break out the Cab3. Fun swell riding in 25kts, diminishing to 20 mid-afternoon. On my way back to switch to 4.0, my son met me at the beach to relay a message from the marina :o The jib had partially unfurled and shredded in the storm (new world problem). So this concluded the session and down the hat I went.
Sailing on #2 Jib this season.
