Back on the water after another bout of bad coughing and cold-type symptoms. Mostly sick since mid January :( Anwway, arrived after breakfast which was too late to participate in the first round. Couldn't find a mast step which stopped me launching then, found it later when I lifted a wing. Got a lesson from Tweezer himself on rigging Bobson's old 6.0 Flyer, I've never had a sail with cams before. Anyhow, was packing up and thinking my van door must make a venturi, because geez that seems like wind, but seeing a wing flying unaccompanied with Pete chasing it down, it seemed the wind was coming back and I launched. Cold hands brought me in for a break, then had a number of out and backs. One run I was thinking the 6.0 was way too much, I was OP and sailing sheeted right out. Even got to play on the wave train below Clover that started to reform. It was short lived, but fun.
