Had to get out and just try... after work I went to esquimalt lagoon hoping for anything, then to Taylor beach hoping for something, then gave up and started the drive home. Figured I'd pass through Cow bay and see if there was anything and there was a slight breeze.. so I said screw it and rigged up bobsons old 7.5 Retro and gave it a shot! Yup... as you can imagine it was very light wind sailing lol. Had a sea lion follow me around while I was out there. Practiced non-planing Gybes and just cruised around. After I stopped by the Cow baby pub, had a beer and wrote this. Hoping for better luck at China creek tomorrow or Saturday but can't decide what day to go. Still figuring out the whole thermal thing.
