Coast to coast. Morning mountain bike ride on the east side of the island and afternoon windsurf on the west side. Drive in was pretty pleasant ' North Cowichan Road was in good shape (8 out of 10), only three slower vehicles throwing dust, and arrived with air in all four tires! Wind was strong, but turned punchy and backed once I took to the water. Nice warm water and the there are less mussels ' hurray for bare feet! Got my first carve 360 on the medium board ever ' the new Goya Thruster 92 is super fun and versatile! Had to size up to bigger gear (5.3/116) to finish the session off. Saw Riley nose riding with kite on Jesse's slalom windsurfer ' they made it look easy! Fun in the sun! Summer is here! Solar shower and dinner (tofu and grilled vegetables) on the beach! Quick propane campfire and in bed by 8:30 pm. A day well spent!
