Rigged for conditions at noon and slogged in 4 knots less wind at 2pm giving up after 25 minutes. Up to 4 wingers made it out after me between Hudson Rocks & the Light Station and had good sailing proving I should of rerigged.
The other half hour TOW was on Saturday with 8.2M and also was a slog up to fish hut rocks and back w/o enough wind to plain.
These marginal finning conditions at Pipers are a call for a large volume light wind board. Or something wide enough to get easily on the plane.
