    AM. Morning session at the Hatchery, with Johnny and Heather, sort of. One local mentioned that windsurfing still has a community here but other sports including winging are popular with the tourists. Wind strong (enough for 3.8/79) and was solid when I took to the water from the small point by the washrooms. Then sailed down to the cove (when I realized I had forgotten my helmet). Then had enough power to sail up to the point proper, before the wind got punchy. Called the session early and had lunch and chatted with Jesse about his and Maxim's surf trip to Alaska and Johnny and Heather about the their Gorge trip so far (day 4). Fun to reconnect!
