ferguson,

A couple of notes for you. Beaches are crowded regardless if there are kids or not. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure when you are about to launch and land (and your launcher/lander)that it is safe at that moment to do so. With that said...Nitinaht has few children on the beach within ...

Judging ones actions after the fact is also pointless there GWIND, and judging ones actions positive or otherwise also pointless. I appreciate MF4's post for the simple reason it makes people aware of what he percieved happened. My only comment to MF4 would be to not presume you know less than ...

Yuppers ... once again the tables have served me up some amazing times at tofino which would have never come to fruition without these tables and bouy information which are all nicely and tidily set up on ONE site to assist me in my decisions. Truly indespensable resource....thank you

Thanks Grant as I do not want to see the loss of a great area when it does happen. I was there this saturday and was the only kiter on the water at that time and there were alot of surfers playing down by rosie bay. I appreciated your advice about the wind shadows and stayed away from the lower area ...

Legality..hmmm legality....what does it mean. I think it means which judge and how pissy they feel and how good the other lawyer is ultimately will determine your fate unless you took the time and liberty to have a form designed to "waive" liabilty which even then is not a "guarantee" for your ...

I do feel I should also make this statement. While safety has been the primary basis of this disscussion I do believe there is a way to also push yourself to excel and achieve new things/tricks. In no way would I expect those that wish to do so to not explore that avenue as I do from time to time ...

Ok thank you all for this discussion for what it has been worth. as for the stump, it really is a non issue as a good friend, my gf Erin and I were out there at the beach just before christmas and the stump has repositioned itself in a much better spot higher up on the beach out of the launch zone ...

UMMMMM...if I were to come up to you and start yelling at you ... calling you names.. or even attempting to damage your equipement I wonder how you would react. I personally would probably engage in a violent way and never respect or listen to a word you have to say from there on and it would ...

However it is very clear that people will and do not make the best choices, no matter what it is they are ...
