Bladder 'protrusion'

Post by Ned »

After my last session I noticed that the leading edge bladder has 'popped out' of the leading edge where the hose/valve attaches. It looks like it has just pushed the whole hose/valve system right up off the kite.

Now there is a little 'bubble' sitting there exposed just outside the leading edge. Bad because it creates pressure on the kite material (pushing against the opening), and leaves a bit of exposed bladder in the open that could be vulnerable to getting pricked!

So... how should I fix this?! Never seen this before...

After looking again I have realized I'm just seeing things and it is fine. I thought it had pushed past the valve, but really the hose sleeve had just slid up further. I obviously just had a kook moment
