Hi Dan,
Wish I could have helped with the clean up!
Johnny and Bonny are in Egypt kiting in the Red sea!
Marion and I will be up there in July.

Martin,
I have the last 2 weeks of July off, plus any other weekends when I get my spring list taken care of.

Are Johnny and Bonny going to be back for the summer?

Lee,

Yes J & B should be back by mid June. They are normally at Nimpkish by July 1.
They usually come down to our place first with Steve and Debbie. Trying to get Ted and Joan to come here as well.
A bit of a LaVentana get together and kite session before Nimpkish.
Look forward to seeing you again.
Martin

Hola Martin
I'm pretty sure there'll be lots of work to do at the point to get her Juuuuust right ... don't you worry ... if not .. I bet your broom will be plenty busy keeping the sand off the tarps ... maybe this year we can cut a trail for Marion to get the motorcycle right to the launch area . Hope you guys are doing well

I've taken some earlier threads about Nimpkish and cut and pasted bits (anonomously) into the Nimpkish wiki.

Someone who's familiar with the present condition should go in and edit!

I hope the weather will be good for my first visit next week, passing through on the way to Prince Rupert. I'll try and stop by on the trip back too. Sounds like when it really blows it might be a bit much for the Kona!

its all from the spit, just up above -
see that yellow cooler in the perfect storm video... unfortunately we didnt get it on film but I managed to do a super man from up the beach and put my head right through that cooler... my head won fortunately, the cooler wasn't so lucky...
lesson learned: when you kite is leading edge down in the water don't turn your back on it assuming it won't relaunch itself (ESPECIALLY when the kite is a 5M) ... it relaunched I flipped around and flew towards the cooler and ended up 20 feet offshore....
