Great video downwind dave. Maybe you can teach an old dog a new trick. Phased approach makes sense due to my senior chicken status. Just going out and throwing myself over the bars doesn't seem that much of a good time.

This Video is the best and simplist tutorial for the forwar

I will be at the lake tomorrow, have a helmet now too, hoping its forward loop time for me over the next 2 days! body drags too, not that I need to put the purse down for that.

I whimped out again, I have a feeling that if I went in for a Vasectimy that even the doctor wouldn't be able to find my balls!
I did plain through my first duck jibe and that was totally SWEET!
Thursday and friday were good days at the lake!

I've done 1 forward loop, not on purpose, and it hurt a little.

ok lots of wind forecast. are you going to go work on carve jibes like every weekend trying to stay completely dry OR is it time to take it to the next level! I think everyone named or inspired by this thread should go huck one this long weekend. the time has come, seize the boom you might say.

next tuesday we will all recap where/how it went down, what got broke, etc.. with any incriminating photos or video if possible. yeah that's right i threw it down. this time next week, this thread will become a record of who brought it.

ok, DWD, I take your challenge and will push it and get those duckgybes this weekend...I don't mind falling into the warm water (no looping for me, I'll leave that to ws247). But, I will not 'man up' or put my purse down :P

One handed spocks WILL be sorted this weekend. Need some sailors to heckle me (and join me) into committing to a real flaka attempt. Grubby success would be nice too!

What is a flaka? Isn't that where you curl your three middle fingers in, point your thumb and pinky and shake your hand to your buddy? That sounds so easy, sort it out. :P :P :P

I think we wannabes need a DWD loop/freestyle clinic where we could learn from the master(s)
