Split the diff and do both! Nat is accessible from Port Alberni! Just take the exit to Bamfield, and follow the road. About 50km in, you'll come to the 4-way stop.

Met with the videographer, Aaron Jackson at WWW today.

Current plan is for helicopter to land on the grassy rigging area at Wild West Watersports, take photos of SUPs, kayaking, people rigging gear etc. at noon on Saturday.

The film crew will be in the helicopter to shoot the kiters and windsurfing action in the inlet mid-afternoon, when the wind kicks up likely after 3pm.

Looking forward to a fun day!

board shorts are an option but if its windy its because of the colder temps on the coast and while the water is warm the wind will be quite cool(hopefully)

Thanks, Kus, later today would be right on schedule for the wind to arrive!

Agreed, the water is super refreshingly beautiful now and people are swimming in their bathing suits.

So far, wind and weather have cooperated in Pt Alberni to get the footage required, including varied wind conditions to represent the summery warm inlet.

This afternoon, after the helicopter finishes shooting up Mtn Klitsa, it will round the Valley to film the wind action afternoon/evening.

Another fun filled afternoon ahead!

Right between filming the mountain biking action on all of the hardcore backwoods Alberni trails today, and wakeboarding competition on Saturday, July 30th at Sproat Lake, this is the last chance for filming of the regular thermal wind conditions of the Alberni inlet.

Front page of the Alberni Valley Times this morning is the article highlighting the past week of filming the adventures around the Alberni Valley. Photo is taken from the WWW pier.

http://www2.canada.com/albernivalleytim ... d474323a67

Through WWW, there were two days of high wind action filming (with choppers/boats) and 2 days (morning and outflow conditions) of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, swimming, kayaking, and lots of Puerto Albernio summer fun stoke.

Thank-you to all who ventured out to WWW to be part of the fun and contributed in their own special way.

Looking forward to viewing the finished product!
