I don't think I'd enjoy crashing much in those sharky waters.

Nice to see that cats can be prey as well as predator  Jeez, the rest of you guys head off to the outside to get humongous workings, I'll take it easy with a little harbour paddling and give some light wind tips to the other sailors

Hell yes. It was a really fun day. Managed to avoid any super swims. There were a few busted up kites.

Some Kona wind footage from last week. Mostly windsurf; some amazing kite airtime. Port tack wavesailors should watch this through a mirror.

This reminds me of (and likely close to) the deserted hot springs in El Sargento, Baja

Some serious soldiers marching in there, small period too looks like....yep, the only time I sailed this direction was on a SSW at Goldbeach and it was soooo whacked, took me forever to even get a few semi decent waveruns in....by then it was over  guess Polokow is pretty used to it  thx 4J

La Ventana flat water spot

Hi Sandy I am in La Ventana for the fourth year and discovered the flat water spot , It is located in an arroya and is usually dry or filled with stagnant water, but fills up after a good rain and is about one or two feet deep and filled with the odd rock and sticks. I would not recommend practicing or learning kiting moves unless you were an expert. One bad landing could be painful oh yea and the water stinks and I wouldn,t want to get a couple of accidental mouthfulls however there are 7 kilometers of great beach and good kite schools to improve skill
