The handles for the water were not "broken". Somebody took a grinder to them...

Good man Gwind. See you at the beach.

BTW. I like this review (http://popandpour.ca/2012/02/22/wine-re ... seleccion/). He objects to the bulls balls on the label!! Then he finds many tastes in the wine that I missed.

But this is probably off topic .... so ...

He probably RED the label..
No water at the lake, no problem. I can arrange to have keg wine installed. All the rage in Vancouver :D

This is BS! For $13 we should have tapwater....honestly. I suggest we talk to the ministry in charge or something.

Good luck

I hope you are kidding.

Nitinat is a gift. Enjoy it's beauty. Bring your own water and food.

We are lucky to be permitted to enjoy the amazing wind conditions and pristine , rustic camping area through the Ditidhat First Nations band. I am grateful for every experience at the lake.

Many of us have watched the evolution of Nitinat for the windsport community for over a decade. Enjoy it for what it is, and please stop complaining. If you don't think you are getting your $13 worth, leave the voluntary participation for those of us who appreciate it.

Sandy, we are going up for a couple of days on Monday...a couple of days off and then another week at the lake.
Feeling gratitude for such a great place to relax and enjoy...so much so that I'll even pick up the half pound dog bombs that infest the rigging area that the neglectful pet owners fail to take ownership for...hahaha...shit happens

yea no complaining. if we get the ministry there things can only get worse. no government involvement is best. unless it's THE Ministry, for all the nuns and saints camping out.

It not a gift, it is a transaction, 13 bucks to camp. you pay your 13 bucks, you get to spend the night.

Yes, a man full of contradictions:

"When I was young I thought that money was the most important thing in life; now that I am old I know that it is."
Oscar Wilde

Guess good ol' Oscar was also a cynic :?:

Confucius say: "Man who pick up other people's dog's shit is a martyr and hero in the eyes of his fellow potential beach victims but a sucker in the eyes of the irresponsible dog owner".

Thanks anyway for picking up, be sure to smear it onto the dog owner's windshield when you get a chance, taking a page out of shitslinger John's book....

As for the lake, what would a summer be without controversy over fees to pay the fee collector, ridiculous party noise, no water, pillaging bears, out of control fires, left garbage & dogshit, overflowing loo, changing road conditions, space sharing conflicts, fish kills, tree issues, stumbling or passed out drunks, bad mushrooms & sauna/hot tub (re)construction :?:

...restoring the universe balance of having an amazing paradise complete with its hellish little issues
