this is a "state of mind" event.. you can participate anywhere you go. I suspect that kook st will be good for some peer pressure! That is probably where i'm headed.

I like the sounds of this--I have yet to try one, but i reckon if i throw on a rashguard it'll put a huge target on my back. Man up, or puss out. The only options.

Here's a video that shows a step-by-step approach. This is great advice if you're learning. One key point, which is not well taught, is to bring your mast to windward - on Kook St starboard looping (going out) this means bring the sail towards the right side of the board (windward). It greatly improves the rotation.

I do often sit to pee. Sorry, a chance to hike and get some turns on the Beaufort range, some mountains right behind my house I have been checking out for 7 years, some guys from work want to get up there and I am going too. I gave up a shit load of good sailable days this year for skiing, whats one more? besides, I got out today and made some top and bottom turns.

looks like the Loop Festival will run from about 2-5pm, concluding with the presentation of the Golden Helmet award for best new loop. :lol: :twisted: :lol: are you stoked yet!!
