Hey, what snow?? There is very minimal dusting of snow here by UVic, if you guys got 2 inches it must be waaaayyyyy colder your way toooooo, Ha! Man, it sure looks decently windy.....I kept a snapshot of the Latest Page for next year, dooods! 8)

 I'm going for a drive to check both beaches  . I'll be back at 9:30am with an update. If you want to chat, call me on my cell(858-7847) That hot tub sounds pretty inviting after Freeze-fest. I'm guessing this weather will cut down on family involvement unless the soccer game changes to a snowman building contest...HA!

Today!!

Sail/Freeze 2-gether is ON for today at Island View  . Bring dry firewood and we can have a bonfire to stay warm 8) and wind looks like it's 12-20 kts...more on the outside. I'll be down at around Noon, so come on down and say HEY DOOD to your fellow/ette sailors. ALL WELCOME. :D

Yes thanks to all the organizers, especially Bobson, Rick and Pat. A great day - good food, drink, fire, friends and nice kite rescue by Starboard Steve and Grant&Kendra. I vote that next year be a 25 knot, 15 degree SE instead,
dave

what a great day!

I concur, that chilli and hot chocolate really hit the spot :P while waiting for the wind to return 8) The baked goods filled up the tank in a hurry too, awesome!

Must try the hyperdemonic some other time, Bobson, couldn't hang around any longer due to blue feet. :? Maybe later today? It may shape up again for another white finger day!

Appreciate the rides on the Hifly, Ruskie, nice comfy board!

MF4 thanks to your wife for the goodies at the apres, I look forward to borrowing those DVD's! We should do a pirate swap when I get some
