Superlights may have even come out in the late 70's, late 80's things where already progressing through the SST, getting into the one design, and Equipe. On Mistral there was a way to tell the year from the serial number, I think the last two or first two digits... :?:

Look at that round bottom, good and tippy to work on your balance.

I have one for a lake SUP, yeah good for that and improving balance, works fine, I'd buy it for $50 or so? Sail make a great colorful van awning with a skylight, if someone buys the set I'll take the sail for a sixpak!

I raced these in the early / mid-eighties. Nothing like 25-30 knots downwind with the daggerboard over your elbow yawing back and forth across the swell!

I realize this is in the windsurf forum but still... this one is pretty gold.

If the stuff was current or even last years you might get that, but 4+ years old.. are people so detached from how much things depreciate right after you press "buy"?!?!

This has got to be a very boring 2.5 hours... "In two & a half hours we introduce you to the fundamentals of Stand Up Paddleboarding."

I'll save you the 2.5 hours, stand up and paddle.

The ad should really read "Perfect for the first time shortboard! For only $250, you can have your first highwind experience of derigging on the water and swimming your blow out sail back to shore."

The hard drives are almost more over priced than the windurf gear. The black current plants might be a good deal :?: :?

WTF...

I mean I'm no expert in foil design or fluid dynamics... but I'm sceptical. On the other hand their marketing materials are legit, just look at that infographic.

Oh good, I'll be able to use a 12-meter sail according to that graphic.

Ummmmm.... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... =undefined only $500

I highly doubt the claim it was $1100 when new... in 1980.

I paid around $900 for that exact board, brand new, all in, including complete rigging for one sail in 1980.

I wonder if the seller would consider pairing it with the trailer in the background? That looks sweet, about same age and condition.
