or how you wave ride or jump? Easier on the knees/back I suppose...until you catapult, from that height/angle it ought to be spectacular, ha

Rush Randle apparently surfs big waves with these, and tow-in surf foil boards. Also can do huge chop hops/massive pop with it, though I don't know if anyone else can! I sure wouldn't want to be waterstarting where one landed, if you buy one of these, make sure your 3rd party liability is up to date! Extrememly twitchy to sail apparently, I haven't seen a video of a catapault, I've heard that they can hurt. The rig would prob work well in Nitinat smooth thermal!

I've seen one at Squamish a few times although I don't know who was sailing it. It looked very smooth.

I can imagine seeing my first foiler zipping by at Nitinat; I think I'm gonna be very jealous. Laird Hamilton surfs on foil boards. It is excrutiatingly smooth. And there are kite-foil-boarders, which seems pretty unlikely as I can't even really kite sail yet. The steep learning curves just keep on coming. And what's next? The mind reels...
