Yukon Kiting

Hey. There is not much for kiting up here. Whitehorse apparently has a few, but I've never seen them. There are, however, a shitload of lakes close by and tons of wind. I'm up in Dawson where we just have the river, again can be very windy and its pretty wide. If you make it up email me at , I know where all the shit is. I'm hoping to get some gear this summer but don't know what to get.
I'd like to check it out and pick your brain about what I need espesially for snowkiting (the Dempster would be perfect).
It's a long drive,

I spent a couple of weeks at Kluane Lake (before I got back into sailing) and they get a strong silt-laden katabatic wind off the glacier every afternoon. Absolutely beautiful spot with turquiose water but be prepared for some wicked ice cream headaches, especially if you're wasted and naked ... but that's another story.
