Hey guys...heading down to PV from May 4-10 and wanted to know if there were any suggestions for a good (reasonably priced) place to get some lessons? Any suggestions would be great! Not to mention...if you've got any good eating joints let me know!

I took kite boarding lessons from a school in San Carlos, Mexico last fall during a 3 month RV tour of that coast. i don't think there is anyone doing lessons in PV and certainly not in Mazatlan either. Be aware that this area is open ocean with a serious groundswell making for big waves on any long open beach that you would want for kiting. i can highly recommend San Carlos - protected water/ great wind/ lots of wide open beach and a good school. Of course SC is 1000km north of PV so likely not in your plan to visit.

Well doesn't that bite the big one. I just booked an amazingly cheap trip to Puerto Vallarta hoping to take lessons. Ah well, guess I'll just surf and drink myself silly.... 1 dollar coronas... woohoo!! Anyone going to be there between the 8th and 15th of Apr, contact me, we could go for beers and tacos
