Wrist seals

I have a new Bare Drysuit, and it has bottleneck wrist seals. Not the ones with the rings you can use to cut around. They were waaay to tight, so I put a couple of soup cans in them and let them stay like that for a couple of days.
When I took them out and tried them, it seemed to stretch them a little bit.
But today when I wore my suit... by the time I was done,
I was in sooo much pain :!:
I just wanted out of my suit as fast as possible.
Does anyone know the best way to deal with these kind of seals?
Thanks.

Try calling Bare in Langley (I think). I bought new wrist seals from Mtn Co-op whihc I assume are compatible with the Bare suit. Those seals transition up to a larger diameter. Can you cut them carefully on that upslope until they are the right fit (albeit lose some cuff length).

Thanks Mattdog.
Thats my next step, to try and email them or phone if need be.
I have also had that advise, to take small sections off. like the rings are there anyway.
But I just thought I'd ask here first, because there is alot of Bare suit users around here.

The thing is I had another suit before this, which barely fit.
I gained just enough weight, and hadn't used it yet. So I traded up.
When the new one came back freshly made it had these new bottleneck seals, with no rings.
I did check the website, but didn't find what I was looking for.
So with nothing to tell me for sure, I didn't want to screw them up. (be responsible, and feel dumb)
That's when I tried streaching them. Because I know over time they tend to losen up.

Now I'm at the point where I'll cut them. Because the pain sucks too much. :(
It's also not healthy to have circulation cut off that long. Cells deprived of oxygen will die after four minutes.
