Have been experimenting with with my lines lengths between front and rear (again) and seems like my kite just isnt pulling upwind or is as powered up. Any body got some ideas to save me more experiments on the water?

What are you flying? With my O.R. Broncos I find that with front lines about .5" shorter than rears I can launch with power strap depowered fully. (safely.) After launch trim strap eased allows full power with bar in. Kite is @ max power when the tips begin to flare out. P.S. my lines are 27m's...

Hey Cliff, I was flying 27m's yesterday as well at the spit. I had my line lengths set so that if I pulled my bar all the way in, I was just slightly oversheeted. As a result, a comfortable riding position with the bar slightly out was close to max power without going into the over sheeted range. This may not be the most efficient way to do it, but it seemed to work reasonably well in the light winds, the surfboard of course didn't hurt the equation either

i am using 27's also. Somehow I ended up with shorter rear lines. Thats what happens when its sunny, not windy and you have had too many luckies!!
Thanks for the help!

Front lines take the load & stretch...Just keep checking/adjusting !!!
