Yeah, nice and easy...when there's no barnacle encrusted rocks, logs, kelp, etc. to catch lines and rip leading edges!

Guys, just set up your kite straight downwind Le down and reverse launch it off the beach with rear lines, then manoeuver straight up thru the power zone .... NOT :? :roll:

Weighting the inside of the kite with some sand on both sides of the second strut (third strut on 7 strut kites) works well for me (no folding of wing tip needed). Need some decent wind to lose the sand once up though. This way bridles can be set up free and clear.

& the sequence of hovering ~ 2 minutes & 28 seconds before the end of the video was impressive as well !!! Looks like a ram air kite. (paraglider ?!)

dude, that video is incredible. rights, lefts, sun and wind :).

Cheapest flight I could find is $3000 return. Damn! Well, I know where I will go if I ever win the lottery, or become a city worker ;)
