Shipping Kiteboards

I have a couple kiteboards to ship.
The guy lives in Nunavut, which is Waayyy up North across from Victoria Island.
Very limited shipping. Canada Post, I think is it.
He has another option though, his parents live in Toronto,
and he said if it's a better idea to ship them there as he'll be going there soon.
I'm thinking Toronto will be cheaper and faster, but I thought I'd check popular opinion.
If I do ship to Toronto, what is the best option:
Canada Post
Bus Lines
Some kind of shipping co.
By Air?

Is anyone going to Nunavut in the next couple weeks.

Here's a picture he sent me of him snow kiting.
Pretty Cool!
cool.. ha, I kill me..

Yikes! I just found out if I went with Canada Post.
According to thier website, they would charge me $190.00 to send them to Ontario.
But the bus charges $1.10/lb.
Duh..
