Hello to all in the wind community, and all of the friends we made in Victoria!!

We are going to be part of the Kite 4 Cancer event in the Gorge this August, and are doing some fundraising and looking for some support!

Our friend Tonia Farman is one of the organizers of the event - she was inspired to set this up because of her brother's current battle with cancer. Both Gray and I also have family members affected by this disease, and it is a cause close to our hearts. It seems that everyone we know has also been personally touched by cancer. This is our chance to do something to help raise money and awareness, while indulging our other passion of kite boarding!

I just tried to support you guys with a donation but there is only a VISA payment option. Unwilling to put visa info into the www world perhaps you can make another billing option available? I'm pretty sure others may feel the same.

Sorry - the payment option was set up already by Active Giving. Our only other options are cash or cheque!!

Regarding Paypal - it's a great idea - but the event is a week away already, and I am not sure it is worth setting that up? (Also, not as familiar with paypal or how to go about setting it up).

Thanks so much for trying to support us, though!! I notice that you are usually a generous supporter of fundraising in the kite comunity - good on you!!
