Hi - just wondering if anyone can comment on the density and ferocity of the jellyfish so far this year @ nitinat? Planning a trip and want to decide on thickness of full body armour required. thanks!

I've sailed in boardshorts a number of times over the years - never stung. I've heard of a couple of people with minor stings. Very few jellies two weekends ago.

bears, cougars, and wayward sharks are all acceptable. half-jibing-but-crashing into jellyfish soup is the stuff of nightmares, tho. I must be brave. I must be brave. if I ever hope to jibe. Thanks for the updates!

Oh, I dunno, Kus, your various wildlife close escapes have been the subject of quite a bit of laughter!
