Buffer zone could be a good idea.
On those windy days as the lake starts getting buisier
and with people learning. No one really knows who has the right of way sometimes. If there was some space for recovery after a kite crash, bad landing,Over powered out of controll,Some one lost there kite.
I have seen some leashes malfunction.
And picking out the learners easier. There will always be some one learning weather it is with lessons or not.
Some of you have seen those 25+ knot winds and to much traffic.
I think people will be more comfortable with each other and everyone
will have more fun.

I don't think you need one, except for launching. Nobody owns a particular stretch of water. There are already guidelines in place.
The main thing is for people to not land kites on the main beach where families and kids are playing.
Common sense should prevail.
Great

A buffer is not nessessary, just respect the windsurfer's and they will respect the kiter's.Most know that experienced kitesurfers can manover well, and know to give room for all sailors. The bigginers drifting are to be avoided. They know by a kitesurfers stance,to keep a watchfull eye.Lets just have fun.Looks like the season is going to be a short one.

Just back from the Nat...First trip up in 2 years. I was impressed with the jet ski & Zodiac recovery of downed kiters. I found it a little crowded but all a competent kiter or windsurfer needs to do is head upwind...Considering the crowds it was clean & kid friendly. It was a pleasure to and over my $10 to Dale...Clean outhouses with lots of paper

KUS. This is your doctor. Don't take the yellow pills and the blue pills at the same time. That's all.
