Wind Dudes and Divas,

Well yesterday and this morning there is a nice fogbank of the Southwest
Coast of Vancouver Island so it is going to be windy in the Juan de Fuca
Strait. That is the good news for today. The bad news is that a trough of
Low pressure is forecast to form right over the southern end of Vancouver
Island tonight. This means it is going to be cool and wet up at Nitinat for
today and tommorow. Sunday and Monday look a bit drier but the wind
directions are going to be outflow. They aren't strong so if it gets
sunnier on Sunday and Monday we might get a bit of a thermal wind. Nothing
real strong until maybe monday. If you're looking for wind today is the
best bet out by Gordon's Beach and JR this afternoon. A better bet for this
weekend might be to take your surfboard up to Longbeach because it looks
like there is some Antarctic storm southern swell coming in.

See You at the Beach,

Randy

thanks...
