Campbell River

Hello all! Anyone have any reccomendations for places to windsurf (at a fairly novice level) in and around Campbell River area?

tuesday afternoon i drove past upper campbell lake and it looked quite nice, was blowing 12-15kts from the nw, looks like some ok gravel beaches east of the Strathcona Lodge.

Yeah but b/c Upper Campbell was logged n flooded there are some DEADLY stumps that you can run into, some in the middle of the lake! Maybe best to check it out in late winter when it's at it's lowest and make a mental map of the best place to go out when it's high... then it could totally be a great lake to go in (super clean water too!)
