I have the Ocean Rodeo Pyro Lite, locally designed and made (yeah, guys!) and into its second winter have nothing but good things to say about it. Particularly standing around between sessions, its toasty, and haven't been cold since I bought it.

thanks for the info
where can I purchase one of these suits ?
what are the cuffs made of?
are they neoprene cuffs or rubber ?
I had a drysuit with rubber cuffs and they cracked and ripped.
thanks

you might try a forum search, this gets discussed often this time of year!

Stu in Comox is selling a near new XL polar heat dry, I have one still, served we well for years. Had two OR drysuits too, nice and warm.
Don't recommend any of these suits, dry or polar heat for areas where you might have to do a longer rescue swim

If you are wave sailing and face a longer swim, try the Pyro Surf. I use it for both surfing and kiting. With surfing, I'm imersed in the water for up to 2 hours. Also, because of the conditions, it is critical that you can swim in whatever suit you are using. This suit has a unique lycra outer layer that makes the suit streamlined. As JL said, go to the OR site, go to surf chat and check out the reviews.

Another vote for the Bare Polar Heat Dry for windsurfing. It has neoprene legs and a dry top and you can still swim in it reasonably well. I've always been toasty in it and mine has lasted 6yrs with only gasket changes. But I'm not sure Bare is making these anymore?
Try a google search in canada:

Or try the local shops here, they may be able to find you one:
