Columbia Beach was happening today!

I am still a rookie and this was my 2nd time in the ocean, as opposed to a lake, and I loved it.
The wind I was told was about 25 kts when I went in about 6:45pm and the current was certainly more than I was used to. No water hazards and it is a good place for a beginner like me because there is lots of room to walk up the rocky beach should one be blown down wind.
I walked up the beach twice before I became accustomed to fighting the current and the wind.

Way to go Turtle. No looking back now! A lot of 'experienced' sailors missed a good session by the sounds of things!
