Hi all,

As part of my ongoing efforts to remain permanently entrenched at Nitinaht I am driving my car back to Ontario for my girlfriend to use for school this fall. She is going to do photo journalism at Loyalist College in Belleville and I'm going to teach another year at the school here in the village. From Ontario we're spending a week at my family cottage and then driving to New Brunswick.

I'm looking for a road trip companion with similar interests (kitesurfing) who would want to share gas, making stops along the way. We'll arrive at the 100th meridian, but what we're really looking for is a place to happen (kitesurfing). If you can decipher my coded reference to the famous Canadian Rock Icons who've never been Hipper you automatically qualify for a seat.

Seriously I want to kite in every province I drive through this summer!!!! If you qualify, you can come part of the way or all the way to Ontario. Unfortunately from Ontario my girlfriend and I drive to New Brunswick and the car will be a little full, so I can't promise you can come all the way, but it's possible. You'll need to book a flight back from Toronto no matter what. They're about 200-250 one way these days. Gas will be about 350 to Toronto, split between 2. I plan on camping most of the way.

PM me if you're interested, or post any spots if you've ever kited out of BC along the trans canada highway.

Cheers,

Kevin

The only love to be expressed on this trip will love of the wind loverboy....it won't be any nautical disaster, and in the end i think you'll find that we are the same as we were....all aboard.

Hi Kevin, what dates are you leaving?

I might go for a day trip to the lake tomorrow or next week end, will you still be there? I would have been there almost every week end but injured my ribs....

If I don’t see you before you leave, could you give the bar & lines to Dale, Judy, or Marie Christine? I’ll take it from them when I go to the lake.

Thanks a lot, Ian
