Nitnaht kite launch & land guideline reminder
Hi all, just a reminder to keep it safe for all on the beach and politely remind others you may notice about not launching and landing kites on the main campsite beaches. For the past 3 times I've been up to the lake, there have been obvious newbies (at least to the Lake) who have attempted to launch kites in the areas just up or downwind of the point. I've politely informed them of the generally accepted guidelines of kiters to launch and land above or below the campsite beaches. I've noticed that the "guidelines" are no longer posted anywhere at Nitnaht so I'm going to bring up some plastic coated copies of the "Kite sailing / Windsurfing site User Guide" to post on the bulletin board and maybe Elevation could post one nearby their place too.
Have a great summer!
Thanks! Robin
