Saltspring newspaper, Island Tides, has a front page story, "More Island View Beach to stroll on". "CRD Regional Parks has purchased a parcel of land with important natural and recreational values....The future use of the RV campground and tenting area will be determined through a planning process starting this fall and will include consultation with the public..." It sounds quite positive. Maybe local sailors and kiters should participate in the "consultation" to ensure our recreational needs are satisfied, perhaps enhanced, and not jeopardized by any changes that may occur.
