Pretty sure this is where I stayed when I was travelling through some years ago. Right on the beach, fun place if you're a surfer/traveller looking for other like-minded people. Rock reef right out front.

"The Camaron is next door with palapa, tent and trailer camping. For $3, you get hot showers and can camp anywhere on the lot plus you can borrow a bicycle or surfboard during your stay. Expect beach bonfires and drum circles at night."

Ozy, check out punta mita for less crowded breaks. Sayulita i heard is a really crowded wave with mucho locals.
Maybe see you there, I leave on Jan 16th but will be staying south of PV for two weeks and driving up to the breaks.

It's spelt Sayulita. There is a really nice camp ground (an a couple not so nice ones) right on the beach with a couple of casitas for rent, they are probably booked though. The surf in Sayulita is pretty marginal, Punta Mita and El Faro should produce better waves.
