Does anyone know why they changed the road near Heather campsite on the way to Nitinat :?: :?:

i havn't been up that way in a long time, what exactly did they do?

maybe some of the "nitinat " regulars would know . . . . Tom? Bear? Art?

The stretch of s-bends from the west end of cow lake to the upper nitinat river junction was a sore spot for the ministry of environment for years, due to the amount of silt running off it, depositing in the creek there. My understanding is they wanted the road closed for years, and it finally got done.
