VANCOUVER ISLAND WINDTALK

Hey Everyone,

Just put up some pics from Wednesday over here at Ambleside in West Vancouver. Not sure if most people on here are on the Island or LM but seems the best spot to post them.
I am a long time windsurfer (learnt on a Mistral Garda back in the 80's) and kiteboarder (learnt when the only choice was a Wipika 2 Line!!!, yes even before Naish was around) although have not been on the water in a while, hoping to get back into it over the next little while, ( been eyeing off the 85-95ltr boards that come up for sale) but in the mean time try and get out and snap a few pics when I can. Hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for posting Ozsailor. I've seen you guys from the bridge. Are there any regulations over there like at Jerico?

I have not actually kited or sailed there myself so not entirely sure. I seem to have mostly seen people there with the big westerlies (mostly winter) or fall to spring anyway, so might be outside of regs anyway. So that I don't have more info. There are no signs posted, or any that I have seen.
