I remember a movie (hollywood not action sports) from the late 80's early 90's that featured a wind surf racer (possibly washed out). the only part I remember is at the climax (The big race) he drives a jeep off a bridge (with the windsurfer tied to the roof) somehow manages to rig up and sails to the race. I hope that the people hear can help me remember this movie

figured out the movie , it was windrider. got a few things wrong from memory it was a dune buggy, not a jeep. and it seamed like a frestyle event not a race, but a decent movie non the less. and as a bonus there is a naked prefamous nicole kidman
