anyone know how it was in town (cook st.) yesterday?

apparently tugwell was on untill the marine layer pushed in and shut it down ... well not completely, peeps were still out but it was gusty.

would like to hear how cook st. turned out though ... race was sure on fire!

I went down to Cook Street after I left Gordons. When I got there it was about 6:45 and people were coming off the water on 4.7-5.0's to rig down. I rigged a 4.0 and sailed for an hour or so. It was windy and the swell was really really nice. A classic spring time Cook Street session. Hey wait a minute it's August. Hard to believe that Race hit 50 and the US had a storm warning out. I've never seen that in August before.

Today looks good - take your pick - Nitinat, sail/kite the southerly at Island View, sail/kite at Cook Street or sail at Gordon's,
