I've surfed all over the world and there's always that nagging little fear ... put it out of your mind, but it is there, you are in the food chain.
And as cold and grey as it is back home, it is a comfort knowing there is a lot less chance locally of being eaten.
[though with transient orcas now hunting porpoises on VI....I may have to rethink this
]

Never been a reported orca attack on humans in the wild ever. Wouldn't stress it.

Not worried about it, but if I saw transient orcas nearby, I think I'd probably get out of the water.

First day I was in brazil the fishermen caught the little guy in my pic (tiger) was always the fear I might run into his mom for the next few weeks.
