Help Remove Ghost Nets

Fishermen sometimes lose nets if they become entangled on rocks- they become ghost nets. Thousands of fish get caught in these lost nets, and they can kill for decades. This is bad for the fishermen, and bad for the environment. In Washington they have counted 380,000 dead fish in ghost nets, and removed over 6,100 nets. With $3.5 million per year in government funding. Canada has no funding, no plan. A handful of non for profits are trying to remove these nets.

Cetus Conservation is right here in Victoria. Please check them out: http://cetussociety.org/marine-stewards ... hing-gear/

Thanks Mateo. I get a lot of people asking why Cetus needs to hire pros. Case and point.
