Yeah I say that on the Discovery channel a few weeks ago. I think they said it was $9000 so hopefully that will stop too many people from getting one. Imagine listening to that at Kook Str or out at JR. I guess it could be good for self tow ins at the big spots.

Imagine going "over the falls" and have that land on you, not like your typical 6' foam/fiberglass surfboard.

1st pwc I've seen that actually might be fun and some challenge. Nitinat when the wind doesn't come up, bomb down to the Narrows and surf for awhile on the bar..... Too bad about the noise! Can't see the 4-stroke at 8-10,000 rpm being exactly silent!

Awe, cummon, don't you believe the manufacturer? These things aren't intended for surfing the normal breaks with other boards, only for getting to those 'hard to get to' breaks and carving turns on flat water!
Their number crunching is seriously iffy, suggesting you could pull 6 Gs in a carving turn without slipping out (or legs collapsing trying hold up 1200 pounds!).
As for going 'over the falls' they weight about 150 lb, which is less than the original aboriginal Hawaiian solid wood boards (and first haole redwoods). Mind you, the Hawiian chiefs apparently stayed well away from the critical zones.

stuff you know, MF4, we need to drink some beer together....sure your name isn't Cliff? That chief line couldda come from a script, ha!
agree that thing is another jetski nightmare! Only in the US where you always need to get an advantage no matter what the cost
....in this case on the waves I guess.
